The good people at Airhood sent us their black wired model to check out, and even included the base boost (Which just raises the device higher).
This device is incredibly simple, but definitely helpful. When it comes to cooking, not only does the high-powered fan suck in all the smoke produced by your food, but it also using its charcoal filter to removes any negative smells that outputs out the back of the device.
The base speed is incredibly quiet. However, if you need to remove a lot of smoke being pumped out from your food, we highly recommend switching to the higher settings. The higher setting can produce more noise, but well worth it. Otherwise, you might see your smoke detector go off. No one wants that.
If you live in a house that doesn’t have a hood system, which are specifically designed to remove smoke from your kitchen, then this is a great way to help not only keep your kitchen clean but smelling great.
