Movies and Videos On Demand For The Week Of October 3, 2025

Coyotes – Releasing in Limited Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 71%

Trapped in their Hollywood Hills home, a family, led by Justin Long, must fight for survival as a pack of savage coyotes makes them the target for their next meal.

While this is more independent, then Hollywood blockbuster, the film does a good job being a horror-comedy.

Jeffrey Epstein: Bad Pedophile – Releasing in Theaters and Streaming
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

A mocumentary documentary from America’s favorite ironically parody new source has put together this investigation looking into Jeffrey Epstein. Featuring never-before-seen interviews and footage.

This news will not die down, and nor should it until all people involved are arrested and punished for their actions with the sex trafficker.

The Lost Bus – Releasing in Theaters and Streaming
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 83%

A wayward school bus driver, played by Matthew McConaughey, needs to get home during a fire to save his family, but when fate puts him in a place to save 22 children from the fire, he makes a sacrifice to save them, and it might cost him his own family.

This might be hard to watch for some people, especially since fires are regularly a problem for Californians. The use of a handheld camera for filming is also hard to watch, but the story is captivating.

Scared Shitless – Releasing in Limited Theaters and Streaming
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 92%

Don, played by Steven Ogg, and his son, played by Daniel Doheny, are plumbers dealing with death, and germaphobia. While on a house-call they encounter a monster that is swimming in the pipes, and capable of great amounts of gore and murder.

I love to see Steven Ogg get more work, and frankly this looks while also a light film, a fun horror film to check out.

The Smashing Machine – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 76%

A powerful and devoted retelling of the life and story of mixed-martial arts and UFC champion Mark Kerr, played by Dwayne Johnson.

The one thing I will say about this film is that while other stories might lean into a happy ending, this one however aims for a more realistic and true ending.
