CES 2026 – We Sat In On LG’s Conference

During CES LG specifically wanted to once again showcase their ideas for the future of their devices and appliances, while focusing on AI innovation to help their customers regain moments of time.

Homes are hard to plan for with AI and companies because homes are hard to understand due to the many differences with all the different homes in the world. Specifically, AI needs to understand the differences.

Of all the companies to be able to master this, LG has an advantage thanks to their large touch point in houses as well as their 70 years in the field. Thanks to their understanding, they believe that they can create a zero labor home.

While last year they thought the solution was simply AI integration, this year they are utilizing robot agents for special care, while creating seamless connections of service.

Their line-up of “agent” appliances will also help in the space, as they will utilize large language modules, make suggestions on how to use, and even benefit from cameras telling you about your fridge inventory, and watching and maintaining the cook.

Lastly, LG brings back the Wallpaper TV with the LG OLED Evo AI.

This true wireless television, with integrated speakers, are all within a 9mm form factor. The connect box is also 35% smaller. Included features of the TV is the Alpha 11 AI Processor that grants the TV a 165 hz refresh rate, a hyper radiant color screen that is 3.9 times brighter the prior models, a reflection free screen, and is 5.6 times faster.

AI comes to the TV as well thanks to Web OS which utilizes both Google Gemini and Copilot. The new AI Magic Remote also allows users to utilize AI search overlays on live content and AI generated art for a customized experience on your wall.
