We are back talking about Tombot, a product that was created specifically for the purposes of helping the founder give back to his mom, the ability to take care of the dog that they loved even though their mental status prevented them from being able to properly and safely care for it.
This is a condition that a lot of people who deal with Alzheimer’s and dementia develop, the inability to take care of others, let alone animals. To leave animals in the care of those individuals can lead to the death and harm of those creatures. With that in mind, but also with understanding that animals help with positive outlooks for people dealing with these traumatic environments, Tombot has created their beautiful and heavily responsive Jenny bot. Jenny is a golden retriever-esque dog that has been redesigned with a more realistic feeling fabric while still being a couch/lap dog. The purpose, to help person feel as if they still have their animal companions.
The Tombot still has not launched as of this time, they are getting closer and closer and pre-orders are available with the price zoning in and ending up to be closer between $1,000 to $2,000.
