When a couple, played by Sammie Lideen and Drew Leatham, purchases a home, with the intent to turn it into their Forever Home, they learn they bit of more then they can chew, and their choices might also effect their afterlife.

If you are looking for a suspenseful story, with comedy built in, then this haunted house story will be a great watch this week.


The Optimist: The Bravest Act Is Truth

Based on a true story of Herbert Heller, played by Stephen Lang, carries a secret from his time surviving the Holocaust. When he meets Abby, played by Elsie Kate Fisher, who is dealing with her own emotional burdens, it awakens in him something. Abby’s compasion and curiosity allows Herbert to slowly shares his past.

This is a heart string pulling story. If you like high drama, then this movie will be a solid watch.

Joan Huang, played by Shirley Chen, wants to win Prom Queen during her senior year. However, her desire for popularity, beauty, and acceptance forces her to undergo an experimental racial transformation to become White in hopes that it will help her win Prom Queen.

What starts off as a satircal view on race becomes an emotional and physical nightmare for the characters. The main message of this film though is to learn to love yourself for who you are.


Reminders of Him

After a mistake takes the love of her life away and separates her from her daughter, Kenna, played by Maika Monroe, must serve her time, seven years in prison. When she does returns, she tries to reconnect with her daughter, but when rebuffed, she turns to a local bar owner, played by Tyriq Withers, as the two find confer and a second chance with him.

If you wonder about the validity of second chances, this film gives the viewer the chance to ask themselves that very question.

Jasper, played by Olivier Paris, is a production assistant, but when he offers to film behind the scene at a haunted house to get his first chance to direct, he finds himself and his crew trapped in a home filled with spirits or worse.

Part comedy, part horror, this film plays with the concepts of horror and tries to create a new and unique experience for the viewer.
