Universal Studios Hollywood Reveals Fast & Furious Ride Cars!

Earlier this year we revealed the the main car for the Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift was the hero car, the Dodge Charger. Now the park has revealed the remaining cars for the experience will be the Mazda RX-7, the Nissan Skyline GT-R, and the Toyota Supra.

Vehicles on the ride and their history:

Dodge Charger – Inspired by Dominic Toretto’s signature car in the franchise.

Mazda RX-7 – Inspired by the 1997 model car driven by Han Seoul-oh.

Nissan Skyline GT-R – Inspired by Brian O’Conner’s 2002 blue Nissan Skyline GT-R.

Toyota Supra – Inspired by Brian O’Conner’s orange 1994 car featuring the legendary 2JZ-GTE twin-turbo inline-six engine.

The ride will make you feel that you are in the world of Fast & Furious with suspenseful and meticulous choreographed experience as you are literally kept on the edge-of-your-seat during the ride’s driving sequences. Additionally, the ride will feature a large-scale freehand spray-painted mural created by world-renowned artist Tristan Eaton. The mural depicts the finale street racing scene from the first film in the Fast Saga lineup of films.

Universal Studios Hollywood is getting ready, as this high-speed outdoor roller coaster will be opening this summer! Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift will be the most recent addition to join Universal Studios Hollywood, alongside SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Jurassic World—The Ride, The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash, Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, Springfield, U.S.A., and TRANSFORMERS The Ride-3D!
