Bob Baker Marionette Theater Announces Special Guests For Bob Baker Day

Bob Baker Marionette Theater recently announced the return of the annual Bob Baker Day, and now the group is ready to announce the special guest performers and partners joining the theater group for their FREE festival, taking place on April 12 at the Los Angeles State Historic Park.

At the event, guests can expect and enjoy all-day puppet shows, performers, activities and special guests.

East Wind Foundation and Tierra Del Sol will host a parade throughout the festival at 10:00am followed by a opening ceremony with Colburn School Children’s Choir.

Throughout the day, guests can also enjoy special performances on the Variety Stage, which will include Koo Koo, Joe Selph with René’s Marionettes, and Very Be Careful. David Arquette as Bozo the Clown with fellow clowns Jozo Bozo and NüNü Bozo will close the festivities on the Variety Stage.

At the second stage you can see performances of San Cha, Johnny Kosmo, Freak Nature Puppets, Logan Hone, the Actor’s Gang, and more.

There will also be activity partners of Los Angeles Public Library, Metropolitan Water District, Corita Art Center, Wende Museum, J. Paul Getty Museum, HAWKS LA, Colburn School, Kid Row, First 5 LA, Forest Lawn, Skirball Cultural Center, Craft Contemporary, Red Nose Factory, Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, Clockshop, Scribble, the Los Angeles Guild of Puppetry, and The Actor’s Gang.

There will also be over 60 venders, 20 food tucks, and more performers to keep your children entertained at the event.
