The cruise line’s flagship cruise liner, Rotterdam, once again welcomed guests back for the summer Northern Europe cruise season. The ship has returned, and in doing so, it is renovated and upgraded specifically following it’s two-week dry dock in the Netherlands. These upgrades include updated Vista Suites, additional live music venues, Effy shop being refreshed, and updated finishes throughout the ship.
Guests who journey with the ship moving forward will find the full list of upgrades, including:
Public areas throughout the ship received updates to furniture upholstery, and refinishing of the wood chairs and wall coverings.
Twenty-two Vista Suites were enhanced with new sofa beds, giving more quad-occupancy rooms onto the ship.
New carpeting was installed across staterooms, guest corridors, and public areas.
The Greenhouse Spa & Salon receives new hair‑washing stations.
The casino features 20 additional slot machines, new seating, and updated carpeting and televisions.
The Effy Jewelry retail venue was also updated similar to the upgrades done on Koningsdam, Westerdam and Zuiderdam.
New tables in the main Dining Room for flexible seating.
