As part of a multi-year investment in their Alaska Cruisetour locations, Holland America has invested $70 Million in upgraded accommodations, expanded dining experiences, and even outdoor improvements of their Denali Lodge. The upgrades will expand guest capacity while deepening the immersive connection between Alaska cruising and the Denali National Park.
Their improvements are still on track to complete the major enhancements just in time for the 2027 season! This is perfect because the 2027 season will be Holland America’s 80th Anniversary exploring Alaska. Holland America’s 2027 cruise season will offer a series of 19 options from May to September, which will range from 3-7 night.
By joining your cruise to a Cruisetour, you will take that cruise and expand it to a 9-17 night experience by adding an overland journey to Denali National Park and Canada’s Yukon Territory along with a 1-3 night stay at the Holland America Denali Lodge.
Attending parties can choose to cruise first, or experience the overland journey first. Journey through Canada’s Yukon Territory, with stops in Whitehorse and Dawson City.
The continuing construction will include two new guest buildings which will be replacing older structures, adding 72 rooms. The Main Lodge interiors and public spaces will be redesigned and renovation of Grizzly Grind, the space’s coffee shop.
Already live improvements include an enhanced riverside interpretive trail, wayfinding throughout the property, upgrades to the Cottonwood and Canyon Lodge guest room buildings, the creation of Outpost Coffee + Provisions, and expanded seating at Karstens Public House.
Additionally the Lodge has revamped their food and beverage menus thanks to the guidance of Culinary Ambassador Ethan Stowell. Their menues now create greater emphasis on locally inspired Alaska and Pacific Northwest cuisine with regional ingredients and flavors.
Holland America Line is still the only cruise that takes their guests into the heart of the Yukon. Schedule your next cruise or Cruisetour with Holland America Line Here.
