Celebration Key opened their original two-berth pier in July of 2025. Now two more berths have been added to the pier and ahead of schedule. This allows the port to handle not only 200 more ship calls a year, but an additional 700,000 guest per year! With the four births, the island can handle four ships simultaneously and welcome over 13,000 guests a day.
Celebration Key is one of Carnival’s centerpieces in the Bahamas, and helped redefine what a Caribbean cruise means. The port has a mile of white sand beach, the Caribbean’s largest freshwater lagoons, and five distinct experience portals. Celebration Key has everything a cruise goer needs to make their Carribbean vacation next level.
Starting in September 2026, three to four days will become routine at the destination, and later this year Princess Cruises and AIDA will gain access to Celebration Key. Allowing more companies within Carnival’s portfolios to be able to enjoy the location.
The development, construction, and operation of Celebration Key is projected to create 2,500+ jobs in the Bahamas while also generating $3.2 billion in government revenue, while contribute $9.7 billion in GDP over the next two decades.
