New Comic Highlights for April 2024

There are a lot of comic books coming out next month, and the last Comics Round Up of the month is dedicated to what is coming out the following month. So here are some of the comics I am looking forward to, that are coming out next coming month!


Rook: Exodus #1 (from Image Comics)
Releasing April 3, 2024
What once was a new world of opportunity for Rook, Exodus has fallen to bad hands. While the rich flee from the planet, the poor like Rook must struggle through the crumbling world to find a way off. Will he be able to flee Exodus like he did Earth, or is this where his fate lies. Created by Geoff Johns with art from Jason Fabok.


Hercules #1 (from Dynamite Comics)
Releasing April 10, 2024
Even after he rejected his place on Olympus, the gods, including Aphrodite still turn to Hercules for help cleaning up their messes. When Aphrodite turns a statue to life, for an adoring follower, it turns out more dangerous then they both expected, but Hercules has another reason for not so quickly dispatching the large and tall art piece. Created by Elliott Kalan with art from George Kambadais.


Monsters Are My Business #1 (from Dark Horse Comics)
Releasing April 10, 2024
While Griz might hunt monsters, his first adventure places him squarely between a government contracter and his old biker pals. Can Griz suss out this mystery, save the day, and get over his past alliances to be the hero the world needs? Created by Cullen Bunn with art from Patrick Piazzalunga.


Rat City #1 (from Image Comics)

When Al Simmons detonated his necroplasm it caused affects around the world, and through time. His powers effecting nanites that where placed in an amputee ex-solider named Peter Cairn. While this is a futuristic post-war world, and Peter isn’t dead, he now has the powers of a Hellspawn. Created by Erica Schultz with art from Ze Carlos.


Blow Away #1 (from BOOM! Studios)
Releasing April 17, 2024
When a wildlife photographer happens upon two climbers on a remote and cold island, she witnesses what she thinks is a murder. However, when her desire to know the truth pushes her deeper into the wilderness, she might have mistakenly bitten off more then she can chew. Created by Zac Thompson with art from Nicola Izzo.
