New Comic Highlights for October 2024

There are a lot of comic books coming out next month, and the last Comics Round Up of the month is dedicated to what is coming out the following month. So here are some of the comics I am looking forward to, that are coming out next coming month!


Storm #1 (from Marvel Comics)
Releasing October 2nd, 2024
Ororo Munroe is ginally getting her own solo series. Pulled from her sanctuary in Altalnta, Ororo is drawn to Oklahoma City to help deal with a nuclear facility’s meltdown. This situation will test her resolve, as it also tests her moral fortitude. Created by Murewa Ayodele with art from Lucas Werneck.


Hyde Street #1 (from Image Comics)
Releasing October 2nd, 2024
Every town and place has a bad side of town, and if you take a wrong turn you might find yourself on the peverbial Hyde Street. This book introduces you to some interesting characters that you’d find on Hyde Street, like Mr. X-Ray and Miss Goodbye. Created by Geoff Johns with art from Ivan Reis.


Creature Commandos #1 (from DC Comics)
Releasing October 2nd, 2024
See the return of the Creature Commandos, you might know the Suicide Squad, but do you know about this monster squad made up of The Wolfman, a vampire, Frakenstein, and a Gorgan! Now they will have to work together to complete a military mission that a normal human would not be able to perform. Created by David Dastmalchian with art from Jesús Hervás.


Ghost Rider: Robbie Reyes Special #1 (from Marvel Comics)
Releasing October 2nd, 2024
For Hispanic & Latin American Heritage Month Marvel is telling three new tales about the Ghost Rider, inside the host of Robbie Reyes, who some might know as the version that was focused on in Agents of Shield. Created by Carlos Hernandez with art from Moisés Hidalgo.


The Crow: Dead Time #1 (from Sumerian Comics)
Releasing October 2nd, 2024
Are you let down by the recent movie, but want more of The Crow, then this is for you. This is a return of the print from 1996, which tells the story of a soldier who dies in the 1860s who comes to modern day to confront an interesting take on revenge. Created by James O’Barr, written by John Wagner and art from Alex Maleev.
