New Comic Highlights for September 2024

There are a lot of comic books coming out next month, and the last Comics Round Up of the month is dedicated to what is coming out the following month. So here are some of the comics I am looking forward to, that are coming out next coming month!


Duck and Cover #1 (from Dark Horse Comics)

In an alternative world, where the apocalypse happens in the 1950s, a manga-influenced teen must find a way to survive in this interesting and strange post-apocalyptic America. Created by Scott Snyder with art from Rafael Albuquerque.


The Autumn Kingdom #1 (from Oni Press)
Releasing September 4, 2024
When Andrew looks for a remote cabin in a lush Swedish forest, he takes his whole family on the journey through a perilous labyrinthine style forest where folklore is not a myth, but a reality. Created by Cullen Bunn with art from Christopher Mitten.


Summer Shadows #1 (from Dark Horse Comics)
Releasing September 11, 2024
When the love of his life, Anthony, disappears in Avraxos, Nick will team up with a coast guard officer, Alekos to discover how deep this mystery goes and how dark this paradise is under the surface. Created by John Harris Dunning with art from Richardo Cabral.


The Graveyard Club #1 (from Boom! Studios Comics)
Releasing September 18, 2024
Set in the town of Graves End, what starts off as a queit town surrounded by cemetaries takes a turn when a friends prank puts them and their friends in danger. Created by R.L. Stine with art from Carola Borelli.


Creepshow #1 (from Image Comics)
Releasing September 25, 2024
Return to the miniseries comic, with two stores. One dealing with a terrifying housewife who will do what it takes to keep her family safe, and the second about a human hand that drives a writer into it’s mystery. Created by Chip Zdarsky, Kagan McLeod, and James Stoke.
