In celebration of National Waterpark Day, Knott’s Soak City Waterpark announced the planned creation of Coral Craze and Kelp Kraze, two brand new water slide attractions which will be debuting in 2027 and bring brand new experiences to Southern California.
ProSlide will be manufactoring the new attractions, replacing the current Shore Break slide complex at the park.
Coral Craze, is the West Coast’s first triple “Family Flying SAUCER” attraction. This experience is designed for up to five riders per raft, and will send families on a high-speed ride, similar to a ski course. The attraction will have steep banked turns, gravity-defying maneuvers, and will question riders prior slide experiences.
The other ride will be Kelp Kraze, which will be North America’s first double Family HIVE attraction. A five-person family raft ride that will include series of tight turns, spiraling helix elements, and is designed to make riders feel like the slide itself is spinning. The rider will bring exhilarating G-forces, panoramic views, and translucent walls.
These new rides will continue to make Soak City the destination for an unforgettable summer adventure.
