Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die

A “Man From the Future,” played by Sam Rockwell, arrives at a diner in Los Angeles with a mission to attempt to save the world. At the place, he recruits a group of patrons for a one-night quest to save the world. The enemy to defeat, a rogue artificial intelligence whose technology is so advanced it looks like magic.

I’ve been looking forward to this movie since I saw Sam Rockwell in the trailer. The film is an extreme look at the effects on automation and AI on our lives. If you want a fun ride, then watch this film this week.

When all the planets and stars of the universe disappear, humanity is only what remains on space stations or starships. Now, years after “The Quiet Rapture” of the universe, the last remnants of society search for trace resources on the moons left behind. However, one moon hosts a dark secret that will cost its explorers.

This is a Markiplier movie, written by the creator, acted by the creator, and directed by the creator. If you are a fan of his work, then you might like his take on Sci-Fi as he takes on the story of Iron Lung.

Islands
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 96%

A tennis coach, played by Sam Riley, teaches tennis at a tropical resort to support his party life in the evening. However, when he falls for a tourist, played by Stacy Martin, he is forced to enter a missing persons mystery when her father disappears.

I love a mixed up villian story, and seeing it played with a resort lifestyle, and the main character having to prove his innocence, who doesn’t like this type of thriller?

Send Help
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 93%

Two colleagues, played by Rachel McAdams and Dylan O’Brien, become stranded on a deserted island, the only survivors of a plane crash. On the island, they must overcome past grievances and work together to survive, but ultimately, it’s a battle of wills and wits to make it out alive.

It’s an interesting journey of survival, and if you like stories of overcoming wilderness, then this film might be a good watch.

Shelter

When a man, played by Jason Statham, tries to exile himself on a remote coastal island, he is shocked to find himself the protector of a girl in a deadly storm. However, in doing so, he puts himself and her in harm’s way.

The film utilizes Jason Statham’s iconic form of violence, but uses his normal tortured mentality to hopefully follow a journey of redemption.
