Still Hope
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

Hope, played by Luna Rivera, is a 16-year-old raised in a quiet community. When a new-friend turns out to be a predator, she is sex trafficked, stripped of her identity, and survives years of abuse. When Hope is finally freed, and reunites with the family she struggles with adjusting to her old life and all she’s endured.

It’s a sad story, and one that has been inspired by true stories. The film tries to showcase however Hope’s courage, healing, and overcoming her darkest moments. If you know anyone who has suffered similar tragedies, or have personally, this story might be too hard to watch.

Whistle
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

A group of high school students, led by Chrys, played by Daphne Keen, stumble upon a cursed object, an ancient Aztec Death Whistle. However, when they blowing into the whistle it’s not just the terrifying sound that comes out. The whistle summons their future deaths that will hunt them down one by one.

If you are looking for a low stakes horror film, this looks like it. I like Daphne Keen though, so I’m interested to see how they perform in this film, and it’s interesting seeing this real life item turned into a horror trope.
