Freakier Friday – Releasing in Theaters

Tess, played by Jamie Lee Curtis, and her daughter Anna, played by Lindsay Lohan, find themselves once again swapped, however with an extra few steps. Now their old family and new family dynamics will take a twist as they try to navigate a myriad of new challenges.

If you watched the original film, it takes the same formula and switches it around to create a new take on the body swap story that doesn’t re-invent the wheel, so much as play within the same pool with nostalgia and good humor.


It’s Never Over, Jeff Buckley – Releasing in Limited Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 100%

The story of Jeff Buckley talks about the rising rock star of the ’90s who dies at the young age of 30, just after releasing his critically acclaimed debut album.

This documentary is showcased through archived footage, and intimate testimonies of his mother, past partners, former bandmates and more.


My Mother’s Wedding – Releasing in Limited Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 36%

Three sisters, played by Scarlett Johansson, Sienna Miller, and Emily Beecham, come back into town to celebrate the marriage of their mother, played by Kristin Scott Thomas. While the daughters are all different, they are forced to confront it as the wedding hosts a series of unexpected guests.

It’s a slightly comedy, with family drama in the mix. Anytime they mix family issues and a wedding, the party is doomed from the start, at least in films.


Sketch – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 97%

After dealing with a group loss, a family tries to work through it, but when one of them, the young girl, played by Bianca Belle, turns to dark drawings to make her way through. However, when the sketchbook falls into a strange pond, her drawings come to life and terrorizes the the town. Now her father, played by Tony Hale, needs to reunite his family and stop the disaster.

It’s a dark comedy, that also works as a PG family film. If you want to see something that will keep you entertained, then this film will be a great option for you!


Strange Harvest – Releasing in Limited Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 96%

Mr. Shiny was a killer from the past, but when a serial killer seems to return from the past, a series of Detectives are thrust into a the hunt for who is behind it. However, the grotesque murders appear to be almost otherworldly and seems to be tied to a dark cosmic force.

Done in the style of found footage, this mockumentary film will cover horror and gruesome murder, but seems by all attempts to be a strong presentation in the world of horror.
