From under the sea to a celebration of The Muse.
When we first met Chef Taylor, it was during the dinner service of the Lost Spirits Distillery experience at area 15. A late addition to the circus-themed distillery tour. It was always the plan to add diner service since they started, but it took a while to get it right.
When we finally got to experience the dinner service, we had our socks thoroughly knocked off from Chef Taylor. The meal was a combination of amazing cocktails using the spirits designed by the distillery and decadent meals that push the boundaries of food and art, all of which was presented in a 24-course meal.
Her prior experience featured a menu with dishes dedicated to every chapter of 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea. Every dish was also paired with a drink and music designed to compliment the dish and the energy of the experience.
For anyone who attended it, it would be easy to say that her dining experience felt like walking into the horror-thriller movie The Menu, with better dishes and less likelihood that you would die.
That being said, and specifically also with her new pop-up, I would still take the risk if there was even a possibility to once again taste the amazing dishes of Chef Taylor.
