Mid July Stuart Semple released Black Mirror, the shiniest black paint ever made. No other product is as reflective while being so black! They were not prepared however for how many people would want it. As a result within a day they were sold out. Now the Black Mirror is back and orderable once more!
How is it so shiny?
Brushable paint isn’t normally reflective as a result of not laying flat, but Semple pulled it off! He created a black paint that not only lays super flat, but is an ultra-gloss which allows the material to have the best chance at a shine while still being a black paint!
He took his work with making the original Mirror Paint and their Blackest Black 3.0 Paint and combined them into Black Mirror!
Okay, but why is it so shiny?
As it dries, it self levels out, allowing a super flat surface and mixed with the high-gloss resin formula produces a large amount of reflectivity of light shined at it. There, sciency enough for you?
