Thankmas is returning once again, having launching in 2017. This event unfortunately paused in 2025, and is now back and working specifically with Make-A-Wish, and as a result has created Wishmas to allow creators and supporters more time to participate help make Thankmas even more of an impactful event.
For those who do not know, Thankmas is an annual creator-led fundraising initiative that is associated with Seán McLoughlin, who is more better known as Jacksepticeye. Wishmas, however, is a community event that leads up to Thankmas. Wishmas is a six-month campaign, one that has already started, and will culminate in a Thankmas livestream event later in the year, on December 5, 2026.
Wishmas works with Make-A-Wish, a group that grants wishes to children with critical illness. Wishmas helps expand that fundraising to help two more children for each wish that Make-A-Wish grants. In the past Seán “Jacksepticeye” McLoughlin has worked with Make-A-Wish to personally grant 30 wishes.
