Video Games for the Week of January 14th, 2020

PS4 and Xbox One

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot by Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc.
Ride your orange Q-tip cloud into epic battles. Test your limits. Fight, train, fish, and eat alongside Goku. Enjoy epic events and fun side quests that lead to tidbits of story that hasn’t been revealed in the Dragon Ball canon yet. Grow your skills and gain strength with each challenging combat. Destroy ALL the environments! Maybe even become a Super Saiyan eventually. This open-world action RPG is like the best DBZ movie but with you in control. Fighting is dynamic, and can occur in any location, as opposed to the predestined spots from previous games. Perspective shifts seamlessly from third person as you’re exploring the land to an over-the-shoulder view for combats. This is looking like the best Dragon Ball game yet!

Switch

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE by Nintendo of America
The creators behind fan favorites like Persona and My World, My Way have done it again with Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE. Modern day Tokyo is under attack by the interdimensional evil, Medeus! Craft gear and items to help you and your friends defeat this big bad in the latest US release of the Japanese title from 2011. Don’t worry, on the Switch, Kiria trades in her zippered crotchless panties for some nice warm leather pants in this, more family-friendly version. While we lost some skimpy lady clothes, and swapped a bikini contest for a street fashion contest, we didn’t lose the awesome story or incredible RPG gameplay. Collect Fire Emblem pieces, summon the Divine Dragon Naga, and defeat Medeus.
