We Hit The Burbank Winter Wine Walk In 2023!

First and foremost, we loved the Burbank Winter Wine Walk and while we’d love to give CBF Productions all the credit we have to admit there is just something about San Fernando Street in Burbank that makes it a great street to close down for a festival.

Whether it be the straightness of it, or the amazing quality of stores that dot its course, Burbank has something special in this segment of streets.

We remember coming out for Burbank’s holiday experience in the middle of the 2010s and being impressed by their holiday street faire, and this year continues the quality that we saw so long ago.

On top of the amazing mom and pop vendors that lines the street, there was so many options to help you complete your holiday shopping. From candles all the way to novelty shirts, there was something for everyone.

On to the wine walk, the event broke down registration into three locations, when you consider VIP. The south location being the least populated and easiest to get through. Additionally, the VIP check-in location doubled as the VIP lounge.

The VIP section, for any who might be considering it at the next CBF Production event, was amazing with salads, flatbread pizzas, fried raviolis, sandwiches, and deserts! There were also some unique pours and partnerships that you would only experience if you bought the upgraded ticket.

During the wine walk there were three tented areas with five samples per location, and local establishments that hosted the event either partnered with specific wineries for samples, or brought their own suggestions. For those willing to hunt down the locations, there tended to be cheeses, snacks, or food samples at each location to help soak up all the alcohol. Of all the 39 locations during the wine walk only two backed-out, with an additional two (Dunkin and Tender greens) opting to offer food and not wine for the walkers.

Stand out experiences from the event include Relax Spa & Beauty offering 5 Minute Massages, Guisados offering Sangria, Ciderworks‘… well Cider, and the Granville offering up their Uptown Mac And Cheese to visitors.

However, while all did an amazing job, our favorites from the event was Burbank Fitness Club providing an amazing option of the delicious Caymus Wine and Urban Press Winery who paired their wine samples with pasta that was literally mixed in a carved out cheese wheel!

Urban Press Winery is not paying me to say this, unfortunately, but I’ll likely return for brunch before the year is up. But that’s one of the benefits of this wine walk. It puts attendees into these shops, let’s them see what they offer, and connects the businesses to a brand new customer base.

If you are in Ventura, or are willing to take the drive, I would definitely recommend the Ventura Winter Wine Walk from CBF Production in early December! Find out more about it Here!
