Midsummer Scream, the World’s Largest Halloween Convention, is returning this year to the Long Beach Convention Center on August 7, 2026 through August 9, 2026. This event will welcome over 50,000 fans and will house panels, haunt zones, live entertainment, and will even feature over 350 exhibitors.
Some exhibitors include: The Halloween Shirt Company, Trick or Treat Studios, Backstitch Bruja, Sin City Props, Terror Films, Small Town Weirdo, and Froggy’s Fog.
Returning this year will once again be panels from major companies like Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights, Knott’s Scary Farm, Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group (Los Angeles Haunted Hayride, The Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor, Delusion, Magic of the Jack O’Lanterns, and Festival Fright Nights at Winchester Mystery House), Six Flags Magic Mountain’s Fright Fest, and even more Halloween events.
Additional programming partners for the year will include Paramount Scares, Fangoria, Bloody Disgusting, Horror Movies & Beyond, and HorrorBuzz as well as more.
This year’s themes for Midsummer Scream will be “Horror Musicals” which bring classics like Phantom of the Opera, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and more to mind. Lionsgate will even bring Repo: The Genetic Opera to Midsummer Scream to celebrate the 20th anniversary, with Darren Lynn Bousman and Bill Moseley confirmed as special guests for the event.
