Buffalo Trace Distillery has announced the release of Elmer T. Lee 40th Anniversary Edition. This is the first-ever uncut and unfiltered expression of Elmer T. Lee Single Barrel Bourbon. What better a way to celebrate the 40th year after the original Elmer T. Lee Bourbon was released.
Elmer T. Lee’s began working for George T. Stagg Distillery in 1949, which eventually became Buffalo Trace Distillery. When he joined the company, he did so as a maintenance engineer following his service in World War II. From those humble beginnings he rose up through the company to become the Master Distiller and helped transform and modernize the growth and future of bourbon. The Elmer T. Lee 40th Anniversary Edition will be available in limited quantities at a suggested retail price of $99.99 for a 750ml bottle.
Partnered with the announcement, Buffalo Trace Distillery will be launching a new bottle drawing program, which represents the consumers way to gain this amazing expression.
The drawing for this product is now open and will close at 11:59 pm ET on September 17, 2026.
You can find out more about this expression Here, and people who would like to purchase a bottle should enter the drawing for a chance Here.
