On Saturday, September 19, 2026, Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens held their 24th Annual Toast to the Casa event, subtitled An Evening in Paradise. The gala event was filled with community members, city officials, as well as county leaders as the space was transformed into a tropical-themed event.
Guests were provided fresh coconuts filled with coconut water from Coconut Man LA as hula dancers and decorations transformed the courtyard of the Casa Romantica into a tropical paradise. The space was also fulled with live entertainment from San Clemente’s own Kalama Brothers, dancing from Polynesian dancers, music from DJ NOMIS, and gourmet tastings from over 20 local restaurants and beverage partners.
Additionally at the event they hosted live and silent auctions in their efforts to raise money for Casa Romantica’s future field trips for local students, as well as their goals of expanding children’s programming and creating richer exhibition experiences at the location. Over the past year Casa Romantica has welcomed over 31,000 visitors with over 15% of it’s public experiences were offered completely free of charge.
As a result of the themed event, the Casa Romantica raised over $230,000 to help support the Casa Romantica’s goal of providing arts, culture, and education for it’s community.
