ONANOFF, an Icelandic company, has focused on creating kid’s headphones to be kid-safe, kid-proof, and kid-friendly since 2014.
Since we began to review thier products, see our prior coverage Here, their primary focus was creating safe headphones that keep audio down so that children would not damage their hearing, they’ve even designed headphones to make group learning, and school zooming easier.
Now that zoom for schools is almost a complete thing of the past, the company has made some pretty awesome changes to their product line and packaging.
They’ve designed a brand new headset called the EcoBuddy. The EcoBuddy is made from 30% recycled materials, most of which is ocean-sourced polypropylene and ABS plastic. The headphones and their packaging uses FSC-certified materials. Even though the construction is eco-friendly, the headphones still have features like a foldable headband, oversized clip-on cushions, and hypoallergenic padding. The headphones also still provide both wired and wireless options, and up to 20 hours of playtime!
The EcoBuddy headsets don’t skimp on their audio technology, still providing a safe, comfortable, and immersive audio experience for their users. The device still uses their patented SafeAudio volume control with two listening settings.
The EcoBuddy headset will launch in Q3 2025 and will be available for an affordable and accessible price of $39.99.
