During CES we visited with Stern, who you might have seen in our prior CES and San Diego Comic-Con coverage.
This year, they announced a very ambitious upgrade to their new cabinets. The new Spike3 System is an operating system that utilizes Raspberry Pi to give the system more power, more processing, and allow the system to produce a much more impressive cabinet experience.
The system is being utilized in the new refresh cabinets for The Walking Dead and Star Wars.
As they utilize this new system, they are able to install lighting on the inside and outside of the cabinet, utilize a larger screen, and install speakers with tweeters, and get the most out of your cabinet.
