What You Need To Know – Flashpoint

With all the facts about Ezra Miller in the past years, we understand why you wouldn’t want to watch the new Flash movie, we are slightly in that position, but with more and more drops like Michael Keaton and Nicholas Cage’s performances as fan anticipated performances, the humor of the script, and the way it literally finally finishes in a way the Zack Snyder franchise into the new James Gunn and Peter Safran helmed films.

Hell, even Ben Affleck is returning to portray Bruce Wayne in the early parts of the film.

With that in mind, we wanted to talk a little about Flashpoint and it’s existence in the comic book world.

Flashpoint was originally released in 2011, over ten years ago! This limited series was penned by Geoff Johns and let to a series of tie-in titles dealing with the events. The series ended with the conclusion of that universe and created the New 52 DC Universe. The New 52 universe was not really as well liked, but the lead in Flashpoint comics really was well loved and appreciated.

The whole storyline consisted of 61 issues, even though the main story only lasted 5 months with five issues. We highly recommend that if you don’t want to see the film, you at lease read the comic book series. Here are some highlights!
