Spider-Man is a franchise that is well loved and enjoyed by many, as Peter Parker’s simple story grew over time across planets, dimensions, and holders of the mask and title. While the book was released in August, first looks of the book launched on June 5, 1962. The story was written by Stan Lee with art drawn by Steve-Ditko. While the art and form of Spider-Man is so iconic, having lived through the ages and even being brought back with the soon to release Spider-Man: Freshmen Year in November this year.
This young child who was forced into a world of villains and epic battles was torn between responsibilities due to the heavy effects and memory of his recently passed away Uncle Ben.
Through all of his journeys, many people: nerd, good guys, and all-around hopeful heroes, look to Peter Parker as a sign of a decent person trying to do their best as they suffer through a difficult life balancing a lot of responsibilities. A storyline that teenagers could easily identify with.

Amazing Spider-Man #252 (1984) Originally showcased in this issue, it was later revealed to have been found by Peter Parker during Secret Wars. Having arrived home in a new suit, people are hesitant and afraid of this new suited wall crawler, and Peter begins to learn of the suit’s abilities, like its ability to store things within itself, its abilities to shift into street clothes, and the way her feels when he wears it. |
