We stopped by the newest Disney on Ice show, Into The Magic as it tours Southern California! We specifically checked it out when it visited the Long Beach Arena.
Before the show there are many counters set up with not only food and family-friendly drinks, but even a couple special adult drinks for the parents. For people who want more photo-ops there are purchase photo set-ups for Children.
There are a lot of toys, glowing wands, and bubble wands, specifically dedicated to figures from the show, which helps the children feel engaged and involved in the show. Our daughter had her little Moana in hand through most of the show!
The show starts off with Mickey and Minnie coming out with their friends, talking about what it’s like to be a hero, which leads into the stories of heroes beginning with Beauty and the Beast.
Then we travel into the world of Miguel from the film Coco. In it we see the amazing talent of the skater who represents Miguel!
Their journey takes them into the world of Tangled and tells the full story about how Flynn and Rapenzel meet and find their love.
After a short intermission you journey into the world of Cinderella, learning about how the prince searched to find Cinderella with only a shoe to lead them. Then we are taken to Arendelle to learn how Anna became a hero and saved her sister. The last experience of the show took viewers into the world of Moana, and her journey to save her people and find Muai to help her return the heart to Te Fiti. What was really nice for this one was seeing Tamatoa presented on ice!
One thing that I will say about this event, is that if you want to see your child’s face lit up with wonder and excitement, then this was a fun and amazing event. This was our daughter’s second time at these events, and she was even more excited to see the difference between this show and the last time.
If you want to give your children a similar experience, then make sure to pick up your tickets Here!
