Some people mark our first trip into space as one of the most powerful feats of mankind. Even before we went into space, people have been dreaming and imagining it about this great beyond and still there is so much more to explore.
Currently as of this article, there are 7 people in space.
As of January 2018 (sorry couldn’t find any newer facts), people from 37 countries have traveled in space. 553 people have reached Earth orbit. 556 have reached the altitude of space according to the FAI definition of the boundary of space, and 562 people have reached the altitude of space according to the American definition.
Today we celebrate the birthday of U.S. Air Force officer and had a Command Pilot rating Buzz Alderan. The second person to ever walk on the moon, he was the pilot of NASA’s Apollo 11 mission. He was a member of the third group of astronauts ever selected by NASA. He served as an astronaut from his selection in 1963 until his retirement in 1971.
And in honor of Buzz, I have gathered my most favorite space related comics for your enjoyment. There are PLENTY more to mention, but I’ll let you share your favorites in the comments.

Think Margaret Atwood meets Inglourious Basterds.
