Knott’s Soak City Joins Largest Swimming Lesson

Taking place on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 8:00 AM, the aquatics team at Soak City Waterpark will be joining in on all the other aquatics facilities across the country as they join in on the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson!

This is the 15th year that this world-wide swim class has hosted a day of education, this specifically since drowning is the leading cause of death in children ages 1-4, and is still one of the top five causes of death for children 1-14. As a direct result, actions by people like Knott’s Berry Farm, the World Waterpark Association, and other swim lesson associations have a chance to bring awareness about actually impact the number of children who die of drowning each year.

The lesson will take place in the wave pool at Knott’s Soak City, which is perfect, because of all the places at waterparks, they are the most dangerous as a direct result of parents allowing children to be able to play in the experience without being able to swim.

Event Details:

Swim lesson and general admission for the day of the swim lesson are FREE for the participant.

One discounted ticket will be available for the participant’s parent/guardian/companion to purchase.

Availability is determined by the number of guests who register; due to capacity limitations.
