Gazer – Releasing in Limited Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 85%

When a rare condition causes her to mistakenly lose time and suffer blackouts, Frankie, played by Ariella Mastroianni, loses her daughter. Now she uses a structured series of cassette tapes to keep herself on track as she wants to gain custody back. However when a job promises to be the solution to her problems it takes her down a conspiracy rabbit hole she might not be able to escape.

Parent trauma and fear of losing yourself and your children is a hard journey for a lot of people. That being said Ariella Mastroianni has the chops to be able to tell a story so upsetting.

Hell of a Summer – Releasing in Limited Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 50%

When Jason, played by Fred Hechinger, planned to return to Camp Pine way for another year, he was worried his biggest issue would be the age gap between him and the other counselors. When those counselors start showing up dead, he realizes he has more to fear in the form of a masked killer.

An interesting and different take on the horror story with a little more comedy. Also I love that they named the main character Jason, very brilliant play and homage to the most infamous camp killer.

A Minecraft Movie – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

Four people stumble through a portal and find themselves in the imaginative world of Minecraft. Now, with the help of Steve, played by Jack Black, they will have to master their new world of they are going to find a way home.

It’s Minecraft. Either you are going to watch this because you played the game as a child, or you are a parent of a child that played the game. Even if it’s a horrible film, people will, including you, watch it.

Screamboat – Releasing in Limited Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

When a group of tourists in New York take a late-night boat ride, a monstrous turn on a childhood hero begins cutting through the crew and guests to the vessel.

David Howard Thornton takes up the mantle of Steamboat Willie. It’s crazy that the frustration of years of blocking public domain, can breed this kind of public desire for horror stories.

Tear of Autumn – Releasing in Limited Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

A couple, played by Ali Orokzai and Hassina Hirezi, falls deeply in love and bond over their love of music. While their love is strong and passionate, their flame is put to the test after a man with capgas syndrome believes one of them is an imposter and tears their world apart. But can love endure?

A tragic but beautiful love story. If you love love and want a journey, but don’t mind the bumps, then this would be worth the watch.
