Corporate Retreat
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)
A dark film in which a group of young executives head out for a team-building corporate retreat, only to find that a pushed out elder executive has set a trap for them, and he is literally looking for his pound of flesh for their betrayal.
If you like horror films, then this film fits that bill. I will say though, it’s difficult to find someone to root for, as all parties appear to be horrible, but that’s by design.

When a couple, played by Lou Llobell and Jacob Scipio, strike out on their new van life, it is cut short by an accident that leaves a driver dead. When the couple attempts to outrun the perpetrator of the vehicular crime, the monster follows them wherever they go.
An unsettling thriller set in the world that influencers push regularly these days. However, this film incorporates the less talked about unnerving dangers of life on the road, as they are dialed up to showcase a truly terrifying world.

Saccharine
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 70%
When a medical student, played by Midori Francis, takes on an obscure weight-loss craze in hopes of it helping her find love, she becomes the target of a hungry ghost.
If you are looking for a psychological horror thriller this week, then the journey to do whatever it takes to be beautiful will connect with you in this new film.

The Empire is no more, but Imperial Warlords still hide in the shadows of the galaxy. The New Republic now turn to Din Djarin, played by Pedro Pascal, and his young apprentice Grogu to hunt down those very villains. However, is this quest more than Din Djarin prepared for, and will taking on this quest put his child in danger.
Continuing the story started in The Mandalorian, this film is also directed by Jon Favreau, while being written by Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, and Noah Kloor. So if you liked the original series, then you’ll love this continued journey by the same group of creators.

Tuner

When a piano tuner is tapped by criminals due to his heightened sense of hearing, the tuner, played by Leo Woodall, is forced into a life of crime and safe cracking. However, as his music career and budding romance is threatened by his new life of crime, the tuner will have to make a choice.
Do you like thrillers, and heist films, then this one feels a lot like Baby Driver, with elements of music and composition. Additionally, the push toward romance or the heist is a well used, and fun aspect of the plot.
