If you love the world of John Wick, and want more and deeper stories that touch down on all of the events we have loved within the world of John Wick.

After a tragic accident, Caleb, played by Garrett Hedlund, has to deal with the loss of his son. When he finds that the system has failed him he takes matter into his own hands and kidnaps the person responsible, another boy and disappears into the forrest. As people hunt them down, Caleb will have to decide if his vengeance will bring him peace.

How far would you go to get revenge for a child lost? That being said, I can see how one might be pushed down this road and take these actions. If you like suspense and thrillers, then you might want to check this one out this week.


Dangerous Animals – Releasing in Limited Theaters

Zephyr, played by Hassie Harrison, is a surfer, but pushes the boundries regularly. However, when she crosses a shark-obsessed serial killer, played by Jai Courtney, he is abducted and held captive on his boat. Now she must escape his clutches before she ends up becoming a shark’s next meal.

Part horror, part suspense, this slasher film takes the genre into a more traditional, and more terrifying realm then others have done recently. If you are looking for a night of on the edge of your seat watching, then this is the film to watch.


I Don’t Understand You – Releasing in Limited Theaters

Two americans on their babymoon, played by Nick Kroll and Andrew Rannells, travel to Italy for a vacation before their lives are turned upside down. However, when their vacation takes a unlucky turn, the stranded couple loose their composure and allow their fear and turmoil to explode into an unhinged adventure.

Straddling the line of comedy and horror, but mostly over the top. This movie will make you laugh with every murder as these two bumbling Americans keep misunderstanding situations, and turning the events worse and worse by the minute.


The Life Of Chuck – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 86%

Momments in the life, specifically three chapters, of a seemingly ordinary man, named Charles Krantz.

A story by Stephen King, adapted and directed by Mike Flanagan. The reviews for this film are generally positive, but much like Big Fish, the story doesn’t focus on answering questions, but primarily on the journey itself.
