Beckett, played by Mo Gilligan, is a cat of leisure. When he loses his ninth life though he pleads with the Gatekeeper to give him another set of lives on Earth. The lives he gets though are already lived in, and come in different forms, teaching him the lessons he never learned in life.

A cat story that matches that of All Dogs Go To Heaven. Taking a different tone, and style though as the journey is heavier handed with its life lessons.


Epic Tails – Releasing in Theaters

Pattie, played by Kaycie Chase, wants to be an adventurer, but unfortunately is just a mouse in the world of Ancient Greece. When Poseidon threatens her home, Pattie must finally set out on her life goal, specifically an epic sea-quest to save her world.

It’s campy, but if you want something for the family, but a bit more adventure then 10 Lives, then this film will be a good option.


The First Omen – Releasing in Theaters

When an American woman, played by Nell Tiger Free, devotes herself to the church, she finds in Rome a conspiracy that leads to the birth of evil incarnate.

If you are a fan of biblically inspired horror, then this film continues the lore with a precursor to the original Omen film.


Housekeeping For Beginners – Releasing in Limited Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 94%

When Dita, played by Anamaria Marinca finds herself raising her girlfriend’s two daughters, played by Dzada Selima and Mia Mustafi. Their wills clash as not only one is a troublemaker, but the other is enduring a rebellious phase. However, can they find a way to be a family?

If you don’t mind the foreign aspects of the film, and like drama, then this film is a great watch for the week. It’s been pretty impressively received.


Monkey Man – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 95%

Written, directed, and starring Dev Patel, this film shares the story of a boy forced to infiltrate a sinister elite via a fight club. However, as he makes his way through the world he is fueled by revenge and the legend of Hanuman.

For anyone looking for a high action, holds no bar film that takes your adrenaline to the max and then delivers with some of the best fight scenes, stakes and character development, then you will need to see this film. This movie promises to be bigger than John Wick.
