Ezra – Releasing in Limited Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 77%
Max, played by Bobby Cannavale, lives with his father, played by Robert De Niro, while struggling to parent his autistic son Ezra, played by William Fitzgerald. When his struggles with his ex-wife, Rose Byrne, forces him to confront difficult thoughts about decisions about Ezra’s future.
This is a story that takes place across a large journey as Max takes Ezra cross-country which allows the film to introduce a ton of interesting characters played by Vera Farmiga, Rainn Wilson and Whoopi Goldberg. There is a lot of humor in this story, but at it’s core it’s a difficult and heartfelt story of a father trying to see how to be there for his special needs child.

When Chris Wilcha returned to his teenage job at a record store, he finds it falling apart. He documents his journey to revive and restore the store while also looking into the failings and projects of the past.
If you love record stores, and want to support the revival of one such location, and the history of the store as it unfolds, then this would definitely be an interesting watch!
Summer Camp – Releasing in Theaters

A friendship forged in Summer Camp continues as three people, played by Diane Keaton, Kathy Bates, and Alfre Woodard, in an effort to spend more time with each agree to attend a summer camp reunion. Just when they think in their life that they are alone, summer camp reminds them that they aren’t.
It’s a later in life story for the characters, but friendships can live on if the parties keep working at it. This is a echo of what is possible in real life, as long as you put the energy into it.
What You Wish For – Releasing in Limited Theaters and Streaming
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 87%
Ryan, played by Nick Stahl, is a Chef with gambling problems. When he flees to Latin America for a new life, his greed forces him to assume the identity of his friend with a better lifestyle. However, when he learns what his friend was doing to maintain their lifestyle, he may not have the stomach for it.
This is a classic tale of “careful what you wish for.” I don’t know how the story ends, but if it ends in anything other then Ryan getting his just deserts, well lets put it this way, the people he is endebted to better be pretty evil.

Five men prior had swam the English Channel, now in 1926 Trudy Ederle, played by Daisy Ridley, has decided she wanted to be the first woman to do it. This story chroniclizes her journey, the act of selling her story in advance to a couple newspapers to finance her training and quest.
Disney is telling this amazing story of a real live person. If you are excited for a journey and quest in which the person accomplishes their goal, and a motivating female empowerment story, then this is a great option this week.
