Set in the 1980s, a young English archeologist, played by Josh O’Connor, is caught up in the illegal but lucrative world of trafficking artifacts and ancient treasures.

A mixture of drama and comedy, this film takes a dark look at archeology, the act of selling your nations history and cultural signifigance.

Monster – Releasing in Limited Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 97%

When Minato, played by Soya Kurokawa, begins to act differently, his mother, played by Sakura Andô, discovers the person responsible for this is her son’s own teacher. When she heads to the school though, she finds out that the truth isn’t as easily known as she thought.

Children stories are always a difficult one. However, the grace and beauty that this one is able to showcase is both sad and warm, while still showcasing genuine trauma.

Napoleon – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

Ridley Scott tackles the story of Napoleon, played by Joaquin Pheonix. The film chronicalizes the story of Napoleon Bonaparte’s military career, his relationship with Josephine, and the world his actions left behind.

This is set to be an amazingly active and epic story, set within a massive long-scale backdrop. Additionally, it’s believed it will have some of the largest and most dynamic battle sequences ever practically filmed.

Robot Dreams – Releasing in Limited Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 100%

When a dog in New York feels lonely, he builds himself a robot companion. However, no matter how inseperable the two are, the dog is forced to abandon his friend at the beach.

A short film, but emotional, human, and sweet, all while conveying a family-friendly story of love and friendship.

Wish – Releasing in Theaters
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

Wishes are real in the world of Asha, played by Ariana DeBose. However, in all honesty, King Magnifico, played by Chris Pine, has been managing and controlling the wishes. When Asha however makes a powerful wish, the world sends her a little ball of boundless energy called Star. Now, having unbalanced the world of wishes, Asha and Star will have to prove the value of a wish.

Hoping to capture the recent love from the other animated Disney projects, this film seems to be a mixture of Encanto and Tangled. As always though, I’m excited to see Alan Tudyk continue his task of being a voice actor in every single recent Disney Film.
