Mark Ruffalo plays an attorney that after representing duplicitious corporations, decides to switch sides and fight for the very people his old boss’s were harming with their dangerous and criminal actions.

This film, based on a true story, will be very upsetting for some, while most will turn a blind eye to it. If you are looking for a heavy drama, with a hint of suspense, then check out Ruffalo deliver an amazing performance.

Knives Out – Releasing 11/27/19
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 96%

Rian Johnson, know for Brick, Looper, and The Last Jedi, now trys his hand at a murder mystery plot. Harlan Thrombey, played by Christopher Plummer, is dead, and Detective Blanc, played by Daniel Craig, must now find out who amoungst the many possible suspects commited the act. Including the star power of Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Toni Collette, Don Johnson, Michael Shannon, LaKeith Stanfield, Katherine Langford and Jaeden Martell.

This film is hopeful to repeat the desire Johnson had when he adapted a noir detective story to a high school setting, in Brick. While I liked the writing and story of Brick, I felt that the setting was out of place. I only hope that Johnson is able to correct this with his Knives Out movie, which seems to be very interesting and engaging.

The Two Popes – Releasing 11/27/19
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 89%

Telling the story of the late days of Pope Benedict, played by Anthony Hopkins, as he deals with scandals, doubt, and harsh critics of his papolcy. The church now has to look forward to find a way through while still holding onto their indeals with hope that the Catholic Church can continue on.

I have to be honest, I hated Pope Benedict. No one likes a Nazi Pope, as some called him. I did find it very interesting as to why he retired, and I love the acting style and skill of Anthony Hopkins. While I may watch this film, I may wait for it to come out and hear reviews before I dive into it.

Use Me – Releasing 11/26/19

A documentary crew sets out to fulfill the vision of it’s director, looking into the world of women who dominate and humiliate men for profit. He find out more about himself in this film then he intended.

I know a lot of people who participate in this world. All I can say is, that a person is entirely different when they are in public, then what they enjoy in private. As long as the parties are consenting, and the act is legal, then I have no issues or qualms about the acts.
