Nerd Taste Of LA: Los Angeles Haunted Hayride 2024!

We love the amazing down to Earth, but out of this world experience that is the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride. One of the most impressive and unique Halloween events in Los Angeles. This experience has been going on for over 14 years.

Nestled in Griffith Park, The Haunted Hayride of Los Angeles builds so much around its cornerstone experience. Returning from last year are the three mazes, food trucks, and musical performances from Monte Revolta.

Returning this year are a couple more fun options:

  • A gel ball blaster “Zombie Splat” game. Where attendees, for an extra charge, will fire gel balls at Zombies as they shamble toward them in a shooting gallery style three-minute experience.
  • Axe Throwing Alley. This extra cost experience is just a cage with two lanes, where you get to throw an axe at a target. That being said, it was incredibly enticing to the crowd and had a huge line!
  • New for this year’s experiences are these options:

  • Madame Aurora’s Seance Theatre. This experience will allow guests to attempt to conjure spirits and specters as Madame Aurora attempts their best to keep users safe.
  • Mini Escape Games. Five minute rooms where people will have to use tools and clues to solve an objective. Five minutes and only Five dollars to play!
  • Scary-Go-Round. Usually just a photo-op for attendees, this year the ride has been reawakened and guests can ride a skeleton steed and enjoy the loop of the ride.
  • Mazes included in this year’s experience are Monae Manor, Trick or Treat: Ding-Dong Dead, and Hellbilly Halloween. Be wary, Monae Manor is incredibly strobe heavy, and not recommended for people who suffer from seizures.
