Our Favorite Los Angeles Cheeseburgers for National Cheeseburger Day

In honor of National Cheeseburger Day, I decided it would be a good idea to delve into what some of our favorite burger spots in Los Angeles are. If you find a burger on this list that you haven’t tried yet, I hope you find a way to swing in and give it a try!

Hickory Burger (w/ Cheese)
Featuring: The Apple Pan sauce, mayonnaise, pickles, iceberg lettuce, and melted Tillamook cheddar cheese.

Located at The Apple Pan in on Pico, right off the freeway, The Apple Pan is a piece of Los Angeles history. If you haven’t eaten here, you are missing out. Family owned for so, long, they finally sold the property to new owners earlier this year, but nothing has changed as the owners are huge fans of the restaurant’s traditions. The Hickory Burger for instance has been around since 1945, older then my father.

*During Wednesday, September 18th, 2019, there are rumblings of a special deal going on, but The Apple Pan has yet to confirm anything at this time. We will update if we hear more.*

While living in Glendale, I frequented this amazing cafe, thinking it unique experience. Little did I know they had two other locations, and each do an amazing job not only connecting with their clients, but creating food that is amazing and delicious. The Southwest Burger hits so many different but awesome flavors.

You can’t talk burgers in California, with out giving due to In-N-Out. They are masters in their field, and people are tormented by the lack of them when they move from the range of their establishments. That being said, one of the most amazing things is their not-so-secret menu. Some might say, why only a 3×3? Why not an 8×8? I’m not a monster! But this bad boy is! The peppers add a spicy kick that really makes you realize that this place knows what they are doing.

*During Wednesday, September 18th, 2019, In-N-Out has confirmed that they will not be having any special deals or pricing. Just great burgers, and their regular price.*

There is something amazing about Tommy’s, from their chili to their simple pricing, the establishment will stand the test of time. However, I always recommend ordering double everything on the burger for an even more amazing burger! People who don’t like mustard with pickles can go to hell!

*During Wednesday, September 18th, 2019, Original Tommy’s Hamburgers will be bringing back their amazing deal of “Buy One Get One Free” deal on their Cheeseburger, while supplies last!*

Dog Haus seem to be popping up all over Los Angeles, and we couldn’t be happier. While all of the burgers are amazing, and the Hawaiian roll buns give the delicate taste to the burger, helping you crave more. The only thing that makes their burgers better is their awesome Pastrami. We love it. I will say, if you want to add a little more, I’d recommend swapping out the patty for the Impossible Burger.

*During Wednesday, September 18th, 2019, Dog Haus will bring back their National Cheeseburger Day deal. With the purchase of any of their infamous seven cheeseburgers, patrons will be able to double their meat! Get a second patty (with cheese) for FREE, but requires scanning the Dog Haus app in restaurant to take advantage, so pre-install by heading to the app store now, for Apple and Google Play.*
