We stopped by the awesome whiskey sampling event called Whiskey & Barrel Nite on October 20, 2022. The awesome event returned to the Majestic Downtown and did not disappoint. You can see our previous article announcing the event Here.
If you sprung for the VIP ticket, you got the chance to enter the event 30 minutes earlier, limiting the crowds while you hit the main tables and chat up the companies. Then when the early access ended, you were able to enjoy a wonderful whiskey infused meal.
As far as the delicious buffet-style dinner went, it was pulled pork and chicken served with rice, steamed vegetables, and mac and cheese, which was not their best considering their roast a couple years prior, but still delicious and better then last years event. After you were done with food, then you could return back to the whiskey samples!
There were 125 Whiskeys to enjoy and even more for VIP attendants who got to sample the higher end items in the VIP lounge. The amount of vendors at this event was insane compared to past years, and they were able to utilize all of the hall to their advantage!
