COVID-19 Kills Halloween, But You Can Be The Final Girl!

While activities like Horror mazes, and trick or treating clearly are a little to risky right now with the pandemic, you may be wondering how can I still enjoy Halloween in quarantine, while still having fun?

Well worry no more! We have some awesome suggestions that while not replacing the fun of the events, can at the very least help fill some of the void left by the event.

Horror Movie Marathon With Friends

While you can’t invite over the family and friends to couch watch your favorite horror movies this holiday season, you can use Zoom or Discord to screen share your favorite horror movie to your limited friend group for a Halloween themed event.

While this does have several legal issues, specifically if you do this on services like Twitch, doing it with a couple friends shouldn’t really be a big issue, and I mean who would report you.

If we can suggest any series, we are a big fan of the Saw, Child’s Play, and Nightmare On Elm Street franchises.

Show Hour Halloween Flare With Curb Style

While you can’t invite them in, there is no reason why friends can’t swing by and admire your style with over the top Halloween lawn art!

Hell, companies like Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Spirit Halloween have large and helpful sections dedicated to showing off your Halloween spirit on your front lawn.

Virtual Costume Contests And Displays

While you can’t go door to door, parties, or family get togethers as a result of the pandemic, that doesn’t mean you don’t have to dress up.

While we are sure a bunch of companies are going to be hosting Halloween costume contests virtually, you can also Zoom call your friends and show off your style as you hang out drinking and virtually partying!

Halloween Easter Egg Hunts

If you have the kids, and you don’t want to rob them of the joys of gaining treats, candies and dressing up, then you might want to make use of a borrowed tradition from another chocolate laden holiday, Easter.

If you buy and quarantine the candy early enough, you could hide the candy around your backyard, or an empty neighborhood park or grassland. Then dress the children up, and let them run to their hearts content searching for candy all over the place!

Gets them some much needed air and exercise, while allowing you to keep your family distanced and safe.

Well, we hope that you guys have found some helpful advice for how to celebrate this awesome holiday. Let us know what you guys end up doing, and tag us on Twitter or Instagram.
