It’s Friday, and that means it’s time to once again talk about a weekly board game! This time we are checking out Monopoly: Hasbro 100th Anniversary Edition.
Monopoly is a pretty straightforward game. I won’t waste a lot of time explaining how the rules work for gameplay as most people have already played it at least once in their life, or at least one version of it in their life. This version of Monopoly however focuses primarily on 100 years of Hasbro. If you are a fan of branded content, or even existed in the 80s at some point, you have engaged with more than likely over 20 brands of Hasbro products.
So with that in mind, this version of Monopoly pays so much tribute to those 100 years of entertainment and educational toys throughout the world.
The game has unique tokens dedicated to some of the most popular brands within Hasbro’s lineup, as well as coming with a card that asks if you can spot all the different brands hidden throughout the game.
