Celebrate 25 Years Of Spongebob Squarepants at SDCC 2024!

While in the past Nickelodeon has brought the Krusty Krab to San Diego Comic-Con in the past, this year Nick has even more planned, thanks to celebrating 25 years of Spongebob! The company is bringing not only the Krusty Krab, but also Barg’N-Mart and Spongebob’s Pineapple all in a 1,800 Square-Foot Booth (#4113)! If you are a fan of the episode “Help Wanted,” then this booth experience will catch your attention with immersive elements and recreations! The interactive elements will include 3D-animation and augmented reality.

Within the booth, fans can virtually prepare for their interview, by lifting weights. Then head into the Krusty Krab to take a picture within the mast, and play a virtual contest to feed hungry anchovies. Afterwards, head into the Barg’N-Mart where attendees can pick up some special and exclusive Nickelodeon themed items. They can even pick up Customized T-Shirt and Flip-Flops.

During the convention, the booth will also host costume character appearances, hosting signing opportunities with voice talent and producers for SpongeBob SquarePants, and special giveaways and posters handed out throughout the convention.

That’s not all though!

Nickelodeon and Paramount+ are also taking SpongeBob SquarePants to the streets of San Diego with a 12-Foot-Tall “SpongeBob Fountain of Positivity” Water Station at the Hard Rock Hotel and the Omni Hotel. The experiences will be within and outside of the hotels. At the Fountain of Positivity Fans can fill up their water bottles, take in some art and photo ops, and explore easter eggs Thursday, July 25 through Saturday, July 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m..
