TX2 is an alternative artist who utilizes emo, punk, and modern alternative music to create a unique style and sound. Now they are teaming up with Z2 Comics to create a brand new game called Battle Cards.
Battle Cards is a 54-card set tabletop game with collectable cards, with a ruleset created by TX2. The collection features unique art of Evgenia Verli, Ileana Gonzalez, and Mauricio Herrera. Darren Vogt also lends his art to the game, while also illustrating the game’s packaging.
While the game started as a joke that TX2 created with a set of poker cards, they stuck to it, and years later have been able to create this game thanks to amazing artists from Z2 Comics. The game promises a fast-paced experience that is high-interaction while blending the mechanics of trading card games and party games. In the game two players face off and attempt to persuade the “judge” that their fictional character would win in a fight.
For fans who back the game’s release on Kickstarter, they have a chance to collect unique tiers that will give them access to exclusive collector’s cards, game components, and can even play the game with Evan of TX2 via video streaming.
