When it comes to home security there are a lot of companies on the market that are producing Wi-Fi security cameras that fit their user’s needs and then some.
When ZEEPORTE Security sent us their 1080p outdoor Camera, we weren’t really sure who they were as a company. However, as we started to learn more about their device, and see what it can do, we became more interested.
This camera not only has 1080p resolution but sports night vision, while also storing all its footage on a micro SD card within the device. There are definitely some benefits to storing footage on the actual devices and more benefits to storing the footage on cloud storage. When dealing with cloud storage, almost all companies charge a monthly or yearly service fee for the benefit.
However, with onboard storage, if someone steals your device, you lose all the footage. However, if you are planning on storing the device up high, then that eliminates that risk, as most people won’t have access to snatch and run.
The ZEEPORTE 1080p outdoor camera comes included with a mounting bracket that allows you to secure it to a location just out of reach of basic criminals. We highly recommend that you use the stand to that end.
For these reasons and more we decided it would make a great addition to Monica’s vivarium specifically to keep an eye on her Corn Snake Guillermo.
