  • Spotlight on Tynamo

Tynamo is a really interesting little monster, as are its evolutions – it is, thus far, the ONLY Pocket Monster to have absolutely no weaknesses whatsoever in the main series games… but that does not, unfortunately, work out to the the case in Pokemon GO. We’ve already Spotlighted this line before, too!

You can check out my thoughts and spotlight on it over Here.

With 25 Candies you can evolve Tynamo into Eelektrik.

And with a further 100 Candies, you can get Eelektross.

Those that evolve Eelektros from Eelektrik in association to the Community Day event will get the special fast attack move of Volt Switch. This will be a better option than Spark.

Shiny Tynamo is a little hard to notice due to it dropping the subtle yellow highlights and turning a slightly darker shade of silver. Shiny Eelektross, though, has some kind of Rayquaza-esque green and yellow! Worth it!

And that’s all I’ve got for you, Trainers! As always, I’m wishing you the absolute best of luck. Be safe out there, be kind to one another and have a lot of fun!
