Rants And Reviews: Pocket Samurai

This week we are taking a bit of a twist for the Rants and Reviews. We weren’t filming when we checked out the game at San Diego Comic-Con, so we will use some of their how to play video inside ours along with our thoughts and description of the game.

If you are looking for a quick 10 minute game for family and friends, then this strategy game based off of the world of Samurai might just be the perfect game for you.

The game is broken down into two phases. The draw phase, and the play phase. During the draw phase you will take turn picking cards to and to you hand. Then during the play phase you will play cards one at a time building up your tools with the hope that certain actions will trigger cards abilities. If an opponent is able to strike at you with more swords then you have helms at any time in the game, then they defeat you and win.

It’s currently on Kickstarter right now and can be found Here.

It is sitting at almost three times it’s $3,000 goal!
