When rival brothers and their family head home to scatter their father’s ashes for his final wish, they are forced to to take a look at their relationship. As they take the journey, they bond, learn patience, and forgiveness.

If you like family bonding, and dramas that pull on the heart strings, and deals with the comedy of family strife, then you’ll like this film.

Girls Like Girls
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

New-girl-in-town Coley, played by Maya da Costa, falls in love for the first time, but also must deal with learning how to accept herself as she tries to deal with a new sensation and situation.

This movie is based on writer Hayley Kiyoko’s hit single and best-selling novel of the same name, as well as featuring all-new music from Kiyoko. If you are looking for something akin to a coming of age film, then you should watch this one.

Leviticus
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 94%

Two teenage star-crossed boys must escape a violent entity, by resolving their own personal demons, as the entity takes the form of the person they desire most, each other.

This is an LGBTQIA+ horror themed film in which the charactors must overcome and battle their own demons while still being a teen romance. But the film has solid scares to make it a proper horror film in general.

Maddie’s Secret
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 91%

Maddie, played by John Early, is a plucky dishwasher, but when they go viral for working at a trendy food content creation company, her life is turned upside down. However, it’s made even worse when the stardom threatens to reawaken a secret from her past.

This film is the directorial debut while also starring the director as the main character. That can be a bit tough. The film is a great blend of satire, melodrama, daring tonal shifts, and intimate performances.

Toy Story 5
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

Toy meets Tech as Woody, voiced by Tom Hanks, and Buzz Lightyear, voiced by Tim Allen, and Jessie, voiced by Joan Cusack, are challenged by Bonnie’s newest toy, Lilypad, voiced by Greta Lee. Now the toys will have to find a way to overcome the devices influence on Bonnie, and find a way to integrate the future into their world.

Let’s be honest, even if it’s a hollow cash grab, even if it doesn’t compare with the original films quality of story, this is still going to do well in theaters. There is the nostalgia from viewers childhoods, there is new kids wanting to see the latest Disney film, and there are people who just love the Pixar world films. I’ll also be seeing it, probably for all three reasons.
